Double-Sided printing

NOTE: This page only applies to Pomona printers. Instructions for other (personal) printers will vary slightly depending on the model.

All the black & white printers will default to printing your documents double-sided when using the Windows machines (this has the added advantage that your print quota is only charged by half as much).

To enable, disable, or change the settings for double-sided printing: Windows | Mac OS X

Windows XP

For a single print job:

  1. Select File > Print... for whatever document you want to print (Word, Adobe, web page, etc.)
  2. Click the Preferences or Properties button in the window that appears (it should be next to the name of the printer)
  3. From here you can change the Print on both sides setting to None, Flip on Long Edge, or Flip on Short Edge.

For all future prints jobs:

  1. Go to Start > Printers and Faxes
  2. Right-click the desired printer and select Properties
  3. Click on the Printing Preferences... button in the window that appears
  4. Change the Print on both sides setting to None, Flip on Long Edge, or Flip on Short Edge.

Mac OS X

For a single print job:
