Pomona Username

Every Pomona student (as well as the occasional 5C student) has a unique username and password for accessing...well, lots of things.

Cecil Sagehen's username looks like this:

...because Cecil's initials are C.E.S., no one else in his year has the same initials (or that first zero might be a 1 or 2, etc.), and this particular incarnation of him matriculated in 2005.

• A whole lot of other things...

Password Changing Policy

For security reasons, ITS requires that all students change their passwords every 180 days. Don't break out the puppy-dog eyes quite yet as it gets even worse: all new passwords must comply with our draconian complexity requirements. Yes, we know it's a huge pain to have to remember a new complex password every 6 months, but it lets us sleep soundly at night. Please, we're so tired*...

* Ahem, with the exception of select members of the Student Help Desk who appear to subsist on a diet consisting entirely of a combination of Frappuccinos, milkshakes, and Some Crust Mocha Cookies...
