Transferring to MyMail

In an effort to let students keep some kind of school-related e-mail account after they graduate (unlike in previous years), ITS is transferring everyone to the new MyMail system.

How it works

1. First, you must activate your new MyMail account.
   • You can still access your old e-mail account in the same old way, but no new mail will be sent there
   • New e-mails will be delivered to your MyMail inbox
2. You have until March 31, 2008 to transfer the contents from your old Inbox to your new MyMail account. After that, your old account will be deleted.

Will my e-mail address change?

• username@mymail.pomona.edu (for example, ces02007@mymail.pomona.edu)

Your old ones will work until you graduate:

• firstname.lastname@pomona.edu (for example, cecil.sagehen@pomona.edu)
• firstname_lastname@pomona.edu

Using MyMail

• ...with the web interface
• ...with an e-mail program (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.)
• ...with Gmail
