J. C. Cowart Information Technology Building (aka ITB)

ITS is located in the J. C. Cowart Information Technology Building, which is located just north of the Edmunds building. The main entrance of the IT Building is on the south side of the building (facing 6th Street).
The entrance door has a card swipe on it to provide Pomona students, faculty, and staff with 24 hour access to the computer lab.

Resources
- 10 Dell PCs
- 5 OS X Macintosh Computers
- 2 HP 9000 Black and White Printers
- 1 HP 4600 Color Printer
- 1 HP 800 Poster Printer
- 2 Scanners - 1 Each PC and Macintosh
All the computers have general productivity software, such as
Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel, etc. along with a small selection of specialty software that departments use.
There is an additional room next to the lab that is used for multimedia purposes. This lab consists of 4 Macintosh computers and all the hardware necessary to do video editing and other multimedia tasks. It also includes
some additional software for multimedia work.
When is the lab open?
The lab is open 24/7 with a Pomona Student ID. You will need a valid Pomona username and password to log onto any of the computers. (
Information on when there are staff members around to help)
Printing
Students can print to the lab printer from a computer in the lab or from their own dorm room. All print jobs will be charged to that student's
print quota.
Instructions on printing to the printers from a remote location (e.g. your dorm room) can be found
here. The printers are named:
- ITBLB-HP9000 (Black and White)
- ITBLB-HP4600 (Color)
