How do I set up the Pomona Global Address Book in Microsoft Entourage?

1. After opening Entourage, select Accounts from the Tools menu. In the new window that opens, select Directory Service and click the New button.
   
   
   
2. In the Account Setup Assistant window that appears, type ldap.pomona.edu for the Internet directory(LDAP) server and check the box next to My directory server requires me to log on. Now click the Configure account manually button.
   
   
   
3. In the Edit Account window you can provide a name for the new Global Address Book. The LDAP server: field should contain ldap.pomona.edu. Type in your Pomona username and password and check the box to save the password in the Mac OS keychain. Then click the Options tab at the top of the window.
   
   
   
4. On the Options tab under Search base:, type in the following:
   ou=users and computers,ou=zhome,dc=campus,dc=pomona,dc=edu
   Then click OK.

When you compose a new message, to use the directory, type in part of the name of the person you wish to send an email to. To see a list of the people that match that name, click the Check Names button.

A box will appear with a list of names that fit your search. Double click on the email address of the person you wish to email.
