DHCP Server

The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol server automatically assigns your computer an IP address? each time you access the network. This means that a computer, rather than an individual person, can keep track of all these users. This also means that your computer isn't guaranteed the same IP every time it connects to the network. You can request a Static IP if you need one for academic purposes.
