How do I check my Pomona e-mail?

There are two ways to access your Pomona e-mail (note that these are not mutually exclusive options):

1. Through the webmail interface, which is really just a facy website similar to Hotmail or Yahoo. Webmail doesn't require any setup and can be accessed from any computer (even one that isn't on the Pomona network), but may feel restrictive to users who are accustomed to receiving a lot of e-mail per day.
2. Through an e-mail program such as Microsoft Outlook/Entourage or Mozilla Thunderbird. While these require some time to set up, they also offer many more options and abilities. If you get a lot of mail, or need to check your mail frequently, then this might be the way to go.

An active Pomona username and password are required to access e-mail (this means new students have to wait until their information packets are sent out - sorry, guys )
