What happens to my e-mail account when I graduate?
Graduating seniors are going to be given accounts on Pomona's
new email system. Not only will this allow you to keep this account for life, it will also give you 2 gigabytes of storage space. This is the same email system that incoming first-years will be using. Your new alumni accounts will be activated in August; you will have one month to
move your emails to the new system. Your old account will be deactivated, but emails sent to your old account will automatically redirect to your new account for 90 days.
Here are the important dates for you:
- August 1st, 2007: New alumni email accounts are activated.
- August 31st, 2007: Old Pomona email accounts are deactivated.
- October 31st, 2007 (90 days later): Forwarding from old email address ends.

If you want to save some or all of the contents of your inbox to your hard drive,

Note: If you've already graduated and had your account disabled, there is still hope to
retrieve your e-mail
