Important note: If you're currently connected over the wireless network (CINE), you first need to set up a VPN connection with the Pomona network. If your computer is plugged into a physical network jack, then you don't need to worry about this.
Note: These instructions work for any network printer (e.g. the Chemistry department's printers). We're just using the lab printers as an example.
Windows 2000, XP, and Vista
Windows 2000, XP, and VistaStart > Run and type in \\scribe.Start and type in \\scribe in the Start Search bar. 
CAMPUS\ followed by your Pomona username (e.g. xyz02004) and enter your password.

Mac OS X
Mac OS XFinder, select Go > Utilities. Open the Printer Setup Utility.

Device URI should be of the form smb:// USERNAME: PASSWORD @CAMPUS/scribe.pomona.edu/ printer name** *. So if your username were *ces02005 and your password was password, you would enter smb://ces02005:password@CAMPUS/scribe.pomona.edu/itblb-hp9000.
